Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

We want you to love your ShrugBug® gear! If the fit isn't quite right, we're happy to help with a return or exchange within the guidelines below.

Returns

Return Window

Returns and exchanges must be initiated within 30 days of delivery.

Once your return has been approved, it must be shipped within 7 calendar days.

Return authorizations are valid for 10 calendar days from the date they are issued. Merchandise must be shipped within this timeframe. Returns received after the authorization expires may be refused or require a new review under the current return policy.

Requests received after 30 days are not eligible under our standard return policy. Exceptions may be made at Mozzie Style's sole discretion and may be subject to restocking fees or other conditions.

Return Condition Requirements

All returned merchandise is inspected upon arrival.

To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must be returned in new, resaleable condition with all original tags attached.

You are welcome to try items on indoors to check the fit. However, returned items must not have been:

  • Worn outdoors
  • Used for hiking, camping, gardening, yard work, fishing, hunting, or other activities
  • Washed or altered
  • Exposed to smoke, perfume, pet odors, or other odors
  • Returned with dirt, grass, mud, sand, makeup, sunscreen, deodorant, pet hair, lint, stains, or other signs of use
  • Damaged or modified in any way

Our goal is simple: Returned merchandise must be in the same condition you would expect to receive it as a new customer.

Inspection Process

Every return is carefully inspected when it arrives.

If an item is received in a condition that prevents it from being returned to inventory, we reserve the right to:

  • deny the return or exchange,
  • return the item to the customer at the customer's expense,
  • or issue a partial refund if restoration is reasonably possible.

Photos may be taken during inspection to document the condition of returned merchandise.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the return has been inspected and approved.

If you choose to use a Mozzie Style prepaid return label, an $8.95 return processing fee will be deducted from your refund.

Customers are also welcome to use their own shipping carrier.

If your return reduces the remaining merchandise total below our free shipping threshold, the original outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.

Items That Cannot Be Returned

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • International orders
  • Closeout items
  • Gift cards
  • Tick tape 
  • Gift sets
  • Items not purchased directly from mozziestyle.com or shrugbug.com
  • Items returned without original tags

Items returned in non-resaleable condition

How to Start a Return

Please email cs@mozziestyle.com with:

  • Your order number
  • The item(s) you'd like to return or exchange
  • The reason for your return

Our team will review your request and provide return instructions.

Exchanges

We're happy to help you find a better fit! Once your return is received and inspected, we'll ship your exchange as quickly as possible.

If the exchange item has a higher purchase price, we'll send you a small invoice for the difference. If it has a lower purchase price, we'll refund the difference.

We offer one free exchange per order for eligible merchandise returned within 30 days of delivery.

Additional exchanges for the same order may require the customer to pay shipping costs.

Exchange Eligibility

To qualify for an exchange, merchandise must:

  • Be initiated within 30 days of delivery
  • Be in new, resaleable condition
  • Have all original tags attached
  • Show no signs of outdoor use, wear, dirt, odors, pet hair, stains, alterations, or damage

Items are inspected upon arrival before the exchange is processed. Exchanged merchandise must be in the same condition you would expect to receive it as a new customer.

How to Start an Exchange

Email cs@mozziestyle.com with:

  • Your order number
  • The item(s) you'd like to exchange
  • The size and/or color you'd like instead

Our team will review your request and email you return instructions.

Return Shipping for Exchanges

Once your exchange is approved, we'll email you a prepaid return shipping label at no charge for your first exchange.

Simply:

  • Refold the merchandise neatly.
  • Return all tags attached.
  • Package the items securely.
  • If possible, reuse the original packaging. Otherwise, please use a similar-sized envelope or box to help avoid shipping overage charges.
  • Include your order number inside the package.

When Will My Exchange Ship?

Once your return is received and passes inspection, we'll ship your replacement as quickly as possible. If the replacement item costs more, we'll send a small invoice for the difference. If it costs less, we'll refund the difference.
