This Spring has brought the buzz in more ways than one. 

From shipping disasters to shifting trade rules, we’ve faced a wild wave of challenges—but we’ve also made some beautiful moves forward. 

We’re still standing. Still stitching. And now? We’re evolving.

1. A Box-Sized Setback

We lost two of our biggest boxes in shipping (yep, they were really full ones 😭), which wiped out a third of our Spring inventory. It was a gut punch—but we kept going.

2. Tariffs Got Tricky

New U.S. tariffs hit hard—especially for products using fabric from China, even if it's made with 100% recycled materials and sewn elsewhere. That meant our Mexico-made gear was getting taxed like it was fully China-made. Not fun.

3. Our India Pivot

So, we shifted our production to India, where both the fabric and sewing happen in one place—giving us a clear “Made in India” label and a much faster turnaround.

The new collection is in motion, and we're doing everything we can to make sure the fit is flawless, the fabrics stay breathable, and the bugs stay far, far away.

4. Meet Our New Name: ShrugBug™

We’re still the same mission-driven team—focused on protection, comfort, and style—but we’ve got a fresh name that better reflects who we are and how we roll: Shrug off the bugs. Keep living your life.

We’re still small, scrappy, and swatting away every obstacle in our path. Thank you for being here—for cheering us on, wearing your ShrugBug gear with pride, and proving that there’s power in tiny brands with big hearts.
