Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

We want you to love your ShrugBug gear. If something isn’t quite right, we’ve made returns and exchanges simple through our automated return portal.

Return Window

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery.

Items must be:

  • Unworn
  • Unwashed
  • In original condition 

Returns requested between 31–60 days may be accepted with a 30% restocking fee deducted from the refund.

We do not accept returns after 60 days.

Exchanges (Free Return Shipping)

Ordered the wrong size or color? No problem. We offer free exchanges, including:

  • Free return shipping
  • Free shipping on the replacement item

Simply initiate your exchange through our return portal and follow the instructions. We’ll handle the rest.

We offer one free exchange per order.

Store Credit (Free Return Shipping)

Prefer store credit? We’ll provide a free prepaid return label, and once your return is processed, you’ll receive your full order value as store credit.

Store credit expires after 2 years.

Refunds to Original Payment Method

If you prefer a refund to your original payment method, a flat $8.95 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund total. 

Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable.

Refunds are processed once your returned item is received and inspected. Please allow 3–5 business days for funds to appear, depending on your bank.

What Is Not Returnable

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Items not purchased from mozziestyle.com or shrugbug.com
  • Final sale or closeout items
  • Worn, washed, or damaged items
  • International orders

How to Start a Return or Exchange

All returns and exchanges must be initiated through our online return portal

Once approved, you will receive:

  • A prepaid return label (if applicable)
  • Step-by-step shipping instructions

Please do not ship items back without first submitting a request through the portal unless instructed to do so by a member of our customer service team.

Inspection & Processing

Once your return arrives, we inspect the item to confirm it is unused and in original condition.

You’ll receive email confirmation when your exchange, store credit, or refund has been processed.

If an item is returned worn, washed, or damaged, it may not qualify for refund or exchange.

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet the above conditions.

An Important Note on Shipping & Sustainability

Each shipment carries real shipping and environmental costs. We’ve structured our return options to balance flexibility with responsibility while keeping our products thoughtfully priced. Please check our sizing charts carefully before you order to reduce your changes of a return or exchange.
