When we founded Mozzie Style, we weren't trying to invent another outdoor jacket. we were trying to solve a problem that millions of people face every year. How can you actually enjoy being outside without constantly swatting mosquitoes or covering yourself in insect repellent?
At the time, we couldn't find anything that truly worked the way we wanted it to. Chemical sprays had to be reapplied, treated clothing eventually lost effectiveness, and many protective garments felt heavy, hot, or looked like something you would only wear deep in the woods. There had to be a better way!
That simple belief led to years of research, countless prototypes, and eventually the development of what became ShrugBug®, our trademarked line of insect-protective apparel. People often ask us the same question.
