I want to love this jacket because it is flattering and cute but the one I received 9 days ago is already fraying at multiple points. The bottom of the zipper is unfinished; the piping along the bottom hem should be connected to the zipper bias tape. Instead both are pulling on the mesh. The tulle-like material is not soft and has no drape. The weave is looser than what is shown on the website, and I am sceptical this jacket will block no see ums. The cuffs are supersoft, they are my favorite part of the jacket. The drawstring is insanely long and ties right over the crotch. My suggestion would be to have the bottom of the jacket cinch at the sides so the strings can hang over the hips and not between the legs.
I love this jacket! It doesn't look like a bug jacket, but like something you'd wear anyway. The hood works against noseeums. You've got to wear a brimmed hat under it to be comfortable, but overall I'm a huge fan! The snaps on the shoulder are genius. I hope they come out with more options like this soon. I'm a total mosquito magnet and this is the only brand that I found that works reliably. No chemicals and washable are all great perks as well. Everyone should have this in their summer closet!
Love the style of the jacket and overall fit. Clutch that it comes over your butt for bending over and has an optional hood that covers your face. Unfortunately, as soon as I unpacked the jacket and tried it on the snaps on the hood broke. When I contacted customer service, was told that the only option was to return my jacket for a refund or replacement. When I explained to the customer service representative that I didn't want to be without the jacket (considering it took months to arrive and it's prime mosquito season where I live), she was unable to offer any other options. So unfortunately, now I'm stuck with a jacket that needs to be fixed on my dime and time. Be wary of their customer service policies prior to purchasing!
Mozzie style was great! The size I ordered fit my torso, but it was too snug on my arms. I was able to exchange for the next size up. The process was easy and fast! The jacket has enough room if I want to layer over an outfit and the adjustable parts make it not too baggy! The only thing that would make the jacket better would be pockets like the other style. I chose this one because of the extra hip/bum coverage, oversized hood, gathered sleeves, and adjustability (and is cute) 😄 I am very happy with this purchase and my experience with the shop
