Mozzie Style

I am a pediatrician who likes to spend a lot of time outdoors. We live in a wooded area and I wanted a solution that didn’t make me smell like bug spray. I have been wearing the hat, jacket, and pants while gardening. The material does not make me hot in the summer heat and the breeze blows right thru it. The bugs are no longer buzzing around my face while I am bent over picking weeds and I have remained mosquito bite free! I throw that jacket on when I step out on the back deck to read and just flip the hood up to keep them off my neck. My teen daughter has been “stealing” the jacket for herself, so I’ll be buying another one. Highly recommend this non-chemical method of mosquito and bug deterrent.

I got this for my son, who is a mosquito magnet, for our trip to the lake. He loved it! It kept all the bugs out without being too hot.

Our county in upstate NY has the highest level of tick cases. Going outside and mowing the lawn was so stressful. I am single and don't have anyone to tick check me. Spraying on bug spray with lots of Deet was not pleasant. With the ShrugBug jacket and pants, I feel so much better that I am now protected against the little buggers. The white netting makes it easier to see the ticks - I would not have bought one of the patterned fabrics as it would make it tougher to see them. I'm so excited to be able to go hiking again. The jacket works brilliantly and as intended. The mesh is breathable while still deterring mosquitoes. I really like the kaleido pattern, as well - it is subtle when wearing dark colors, and bold when wearing lighter colors - it is a solid accessory to any outfit! I will recommend the ShrugBug jacket to all of my fellows!

This jacket is all I expected and hoped it would be! It fits perfectly (I'm 5ft and ordered an extra small). The fabric and elastic cuffs are soft and comfortable and the zip front makes it easy to take on and off. Their customer service is excellent and very helpful!

These make the outdoors enjoyable again! Wore the pants and jacket all weekend at the lake and they were a life saver. Just wish there were pockets!
